What’s new in Nevada OSHA?

What are Nevada CSHO’s current inspection priorities? What can you do to best partner with NV OSHA in protecting your workers?

Presenter Background:

Chapter member Kym Heckman serves as the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) of NV OSHA.
Kym brings nearly two decades of experience in workplace safety and health to her new role. She most recently returned to the Division of Industrial Relations Safety Consultation and Training Section (SCATS) after serving as Safety and Risk Officer for the City of North Las Vegas, where she developed and implemented citywide safety programs, conducted workplace audits, and led training initiatives to strengthen safety culture and compliance.
As the agency’s CAO, Heckman will oversee statewide operations of Nevada OSHA, including enforcement, compliance, and program management, supporting the agency’s mission to ensure safe and healthy working conditions for Nevada’s workforce.

Unlike most of our virtual technical meetings, this meeting will be hybrid, available in-person and online. Stay tuned on our Events page for the upcoming mixers and site tours that provide in-person gathering opportunities. The meeting room opens at 12:50 and the agenda will kick off promptly at 1:10.

Technical meetings are always open to non-members as well as members.

However, members will also receive the same link in their monthly email newsletters. Registration is not required, but is appreciated.
